The DELE, Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language, is the only official Spanish exam recognized worldwide by educational institutions, companies, and authorities.
Many schools and universities require DELE for admission.
There are six levels for adults, with A1 being the most basic proficiency and C2 the highest level.
There are also two levels of DELE for young learners: DELE young learners A1 and DELE young learners A2/B1.
The exam follows the standards established by the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) .
Spanish Diploma for young learners
The DELE for young learners is intended for students aged from 11 to 17 years old. There are two DELE tests: A1 and A2/B1:
Both tests, A1 and A2/B1 are designed for children and teenagers, divided into the four skills: speaking, writing, reading and listening.
